Welcome to the Kentucky Aviation Association

The Kentucky Aviation Association is a non-profit corporation organized under the 501(c)(6) federal tax code.  We foster and promote aviation facilities, safety, industry, business, recreation, and aerospace education in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and pool and bring together the various interests and talents of individuals, bureaus, agencies, departments, professional people, and municipalities, for those purposes.

Only Flying B-29 Superfortress to land at Blue Grass Airport

The Commemorative Air Force B-29/B-24 Squadron is proud to announce that the world's only flying Boeing B-29 Superfortress "FIFI" is going to be at The Aviation Museum of Kentucky at Blue Grass Airport from May 18th through May 20th. Guides tours are available for a donation and rides can be purchased in advance by visiting www.rideb29.com.  Click here for the press release containing more details.

Support the Kentucky Aviation Association License Plate

Please show your support of aviation and make plans to purchase a Kentucky Aviation Association License Plate.  Once the Kentucky Aviation Association receives the required 900 signatures, we will be sending an application to you for the License Plate and it will require a $25 application fee which will go towards the purchasing of your plate.  Please keep in mind that you can personalize them upon ordering your plate.  Please contact Rob Barnett at 270-842-1101 or email him at robb@bgwcairport.org to sign-up.

Board of Directors

The Kentucky Aviation Association is guided by a 10 member Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors are elected at the associations annual meeting, which is typically held in late summer/early fall.  Each Director serves a three year term. Meet the Board of Directors

Kentucky Aviation Conference

The Kentucky Aviation Conference is held each year in late summer/early fall and is an excellent opportunity to collaborate and share innovative ideas with the 250-plus aviation professionals, elected officials, vendors, and aviation consultants who are attending the conference.  This year will mark the 36th anniversary of the Kentucky Aviation Conference, which will once again be held in Louisville, Kentucky, September 5-7, 2012.  More Conference Information
